not to put you down, but the M3 would've won anyways. they arent an easily beaten opponent 414hp / 295tq
ouch big gap in the torque... if thats crank... i put that too the rear wheels...
it is its a huge gap, but they rev HIGH, and once they get going they're gone.

+1 on the E92 numbers and they rev up to 8100 rpms, can't wait to see one on the road

Weird.. I can see you losing traction in 1st or on a hard shift to second, but I'm on stock tires and it gets in the low 30s here in Tucson and I have never had a problem with traction in a second gear roll race.

You are having traction issues in second gear from a roll? Thats really weird with only 292rwhp.. I have a little over 300 and have never had a problem in second with street tires even at like 45-50mph. Are you tires bald?
you say "only 292 rwhp" like its a bad thing... lol... the streets out here in vegas suck. (most of them anyway) and the tires as well as the car only have 3600 miles on them, so their far from bald. i run them at the manufactures recomended 32 psi at all times. my next investment is going to be better tires for sure. hopefully they will be on some steeda ultra-lights. but for now i'm runnin the stock pirelli 17's.
The temperature in the Vegas area appears to have been in the 30's - 40's at the time of your race. If so, then your car will definitely tend to fishtail at WOT in 1st and 2nd on stock tires, because cold ambient temps greatly reduce your car's traction by lowering the road surface temperature and hardening the tire treads, while simultaneously increasing your engine's torque output.
I know mine fishtails like a bandit if I don't pedal it in 1st and 2nd when it gets cold in my area.

I feel your paing on the traction control thing. When I raced that CTS-V I had traction control on. Every shift 1,2,3 the damn green traction control light would come on, and you'de hear that sloppy exhaust sound from the engine shutting down! I still won, but man I would've done so much better!

Nice to have a car that so powerful it loses traction in third isn't it

i'm telling you, the streets here in vegas really do suck!!! from what i understand, the AZ streets are better maintained and all that.
