^^^ what speeds do you go from? I'm sure 80 isn't the best senario for an AWD car especially with added weight in the car.

Quick- Was the S4 you ran a turbo V6 car, or a V8 one??? A 4.2 S4 should have no trouble at all w/ a stock/lightly modded New Edge...
Na its the v8, Hes a friends friend of mine. He got the new body Audi TT's didnt like it so gave it back, got a brand new s4, paid 60 grand for it ;[ ... its BONE STOCK, but every car he races he loses, he lost to 335 off roll as well. Even in the car you dont feel the speed much but then you cant judge it like that, but hes car takes turns at high speeds and you dont feel sh*t! Drives pretty smooth. He went to Palmdale track with my close friend(drives a 05 s2000.) Both bone stock. The s2000 hit 14.4 and the s4 hit 14.8, but that track WAS known for bad elevation so they said you have to take off couple tenths. Oh ya after that run,my friend with thes2k just BAGGED and i mean BAGGGEDD onthe guy with the s4

i called my friend with the s2000 to make sure, (since i wasnt at the track) ma bad, he said he went 15.1. This is just as suprising as it is to me then anyone. It could possibly be driver mod, or lack of auto, but i noticed everytime this guy would launch he wouldnt turn his traction control off until he did that one time and beat the s2000 off launch. (the s2000 i stated while back the one with theexhaust)

Quick- From a 30-50 roll, his car stiil pretty quick. I never raced him from a fast roll.

EaZy- Your friend should've just bought a used RS4 for 60K, lol. Then he'd be raping those other guys. Anyways, that must have been a loaded up S4, which prolly hurts him in the weight department a little. And if he bought it new, it's prolly not broken in yet. German engines are notorious for needing a proper break-in period. Idk how long he's had the car, it was just food for thought....

yea hes s4 is fully loaded, also he got bitched at because he took his car to palmdale when it had 300 miles on it, but then again some people say theres no need to break in an engine because there alrdy broken in before they sell (Dont know how true).

BTW scg87, you decide on a car yet?

I've really been leaning towards a G37 or a 335 Coupe lately. But we'll see....[&:]

Get a 335. I have extensively driven G37 335i (stock and with both Proceed upgrades) I own and S4.

I would say 335 hands down. Its a great car. I cant say enough about it. Just go drive one for a few hours and you will understand. Not to mention you can mod the hell out of it.

Yeah, they're sweet, it's just the fact that it's a BMW, lol. And I also prefer the G37's looks..... and price.....

But who knows, I change my mind every other week, so I may end up something completely different.....
