I wonder how many people here have been in a new M5. They are freaking gorgeuos and the ride is unbelievable. A customer of mine has one and he took me for a ride. I'd love to own the car. Luxury with some *****. I'd drive it all day long and have absolutely NO problem if a dude in a blown GT beat me in a race. There is no comparison between the two cars - two different leagues. Anyone who would want a blown new edge GT over a new M5 is either bewteen the ages of 16-20 and has never been within 10 feet of an M5 - most likely both.

 

I agree. M5's are gorgeous cars. Although, I like the M6 a bit better. Same engines and all, but the edge goes to the M6 due to weight difference.

 

i thought the 6 was heavier..... even tho its a coupe 6 series are big *** cars.

 

M6 is 3909 and the M5 is 4012. About 100 lbs. weight difference. About a tenth in the 1/4

 

I think the M6 is lighter, but it's hideous IMO. Give me the M5.....

 

there is a punk kid freshman at my school that drives an m6. nice car, wasted on a little kid like that. I wanna line up on him this summer maybe get him to stop hot rodding around
