Jdan, I have no argue with you- I actually have a 2004 Mustang GT and my cousin has a 2004 Cobra (which yes I have driven and yes its nice)

but its time to give credit where its due-

I am a MUSTANG OWNER. my cousin who is at my house everyday just about has a 04 Cobra
my neighbor has a 67 with a 429 in it.
I mean I LOVE mustangs... or else I wouldnt be here.
I am just saying... GM has proven to be more powerfull- people in the above post made very LEGIT and good points... only to be KNOCKED down.

I believe both automobile and road and track tested the C6 Z06 vs the "almighty" ford GT, oh, and, gee, what happened? The vette outran the 150k GT in every aspect. Score another for GM.

but PopularMechanics Motor Trend and StangBangers(a ford stang site) all posted teh Corvette wins.
stock vs stock.
vette has 40hp less and 15tq and of course is N/A.... Cobra has 40plus hp and 15tq and is supercharged.
so i mean... come on.

wow this thread is getting dumber by the second ...first it was camaro vs cobra and now since you guys obviously can't win you bring the vette in the picture... typical. and by the way the mags you mentionned about the 06 Z06 vs GT were very criticize, you know why? because they were wrong, sorry but those 2 cars have been tested on a real course since then and the Z06 lost fair and square every time. go to the video section and check it out, there were 2 comparison tests and the GT came out on top. now if that doesn't prove to you guys that your magazines are biased towards GM i don't know what will.

 

you're comparing a car that costs like 22k new to a car that costs about 30k new. compare a ford that costs about the same (Mach1) and suddenly it's not getting eaten alive.
