Congrats on the girlfriend! w00t! they can be fun, and they can be a pain.

What got me to reply here was the Viper reference about Mach1's. I would be one of those jerks who thinks Vipers are slow, and there is nothing more fun than goading one of them drivers into showing what its got, only too have them look at a really old cars beat up rear end. Bustin on Vipers is fun, you really need to try it sometime

UNfortunately too many exotic car owners can't drive [&:] When I attend auto-x events in my area people come out with Lambos and Vipers and they get beat by mildly modified well driven Civics. Granted a Viper and Lambo aren't exactly designed to be raced on a tight, almost permanently curved course, they are far more designed for performance and if driven well should still beat almost any Civic that shows up at that event. I have seen too many Vipers at the drag strip running mid 13's too. *shrug*

Ive known this guy since middle school. he since moved to texas and is now driving around one fast daily driver. This video was taken with his old set up. hes now making about 80WHP more at 2000RPM lower.

Oh, and that viper wasnt evel close to stock. he turns high 10s on street tires on almost every pass he rips down the 1320. You arent going to be catching him running 13s in that beast. And if you noticed, this rear brake pad wat catching while they were racing. Thats right folks, his brakes were ON! LOL!!

but I digress...

So how much do you want to let that sould go for? Honda of America might make you a dcent offer for it on a trade in.

Here is his new set up racing a supra - 650whp. 30psi. pt67. NEW INFO! the supra made 680whp @ 30psi no 650. BUT! during this race the boost was @ 17lbs which equates to around 520-540rwhp for the supra.

Just FYI, the civic is a full interior civic hatch. It has a built 1.9l Honda motor, which is putting down 520whp @ 25psi. This is his daily driver, and he has a full stereo system in the thing to boot, including subs and an amp.

Everything ended up costing him a little over 16K to build, including the cost of his car, all labor, fabrication, parts, and even the stereo. Of course he also had a full cage in it, since he needs one to legally run at most tracks.
