I'm gonna have to agree, it doesn't sound like he's bragging. He just sounds like he is proud of his car, and what he has accomplished with it for being what it is. He happend to see you on the street and wanted to have a little fun, should've let him pull beside you and gave it a quick go. Instead of insulting him, because it doesnt sound like he was being a punk-***, IMO.

He owns an Altima that he's been dumping money into - that pretty much should tell you all you need to know. He asked about a high flow radiator for his car - said it picks up 25 hp. There are plenty of kids out there that think there ride is fast and is generally clueless about anything else. Clearly, the kid in the sixxer was one of them. Hopefully he learned a litle something from the experience.

Guys, Guys,Guys take my word for it. He was bragging. I didn't think I needed to quote the whole conversation. It's getting late, so I want tell you guys every word that this guy said, I'll only type in the highlights:
A. He has not lost to a 04 or below GT.
B. Sarcastically said that he had better not catch me at a light.
C. He went to the track and said thathe ran consitentely low 14's with only a intake and gears andohyeah he said that the 5-speed that came in the V-6's are made better than the V-8's.
This is coming from a guy that heard my car and followed me into the grocery store. Never met him before in my life. This was like a 15 min conversation with him doing most of the talking. Once again I apologize for not typing in the whole 15 min conversation word for word.

Nah guys it's my fault. I read my post over and over (without drinking a bud) and you were right. I should have at least posted the highlightsof the covo!! . Get this though. I was washing my car and a friend of the guy I raced said that he told him that he hung with me. I'm like WoW!!!!!!!!!! Of ocurse his friend knew that he lied. He even called him a idiot. Once again I apoligize!

Met a guy last week with a 01 V-6 stang. He heard my car and said he loved how it sounded. Thought he was a really cool guy. Then he starts bragging. He said his car was only a V-6 but he had invested some money, 3:73 gears, CAI, exhuast, etc, etc. So I was like wow!!!! Well today I left the car wash here in town and lo & behold there he is behind me. Came to a light and guess what the light turns red (I slowed down to ensure it turned red) I hate racing in the city but the conditions were perfect. One car beside me and him behind me. Light turns red and I punch it hard. It wasn't even close. I felt kinda bad racing a V-6 stang but he was asking for it.

hold on now....he was behind you? so how do you expect him to launch at the sime time you do? he would rearend you man. this is a crap post. you essentially raced with 1 car length and you get the advantage of being able to launch on green. he has to wait until you launch to even get in the throttle. not saying you couldnt have won...but race for real next time.
