yeah it def. helped, thanks... but uhh one last question and ill leave you guys alone, up to what RPM should i rev it up to?
Until whatever rpm that the torque converter starts to lockup. (When you can feel the car startwanting to move forward). Then, release the brake and put the gas peddle to the floor. How's that for an answer, 1BAD3V? lol [8D]
I think the stock converter on the 04 v6's can hold til around 1200rpms, but I might be wrong. Just go test it out, go push the brake in, and slowly push on the gas and watch the rpms, when the cars starts moving forward than thats as far as you can rev the car up before it moves.

And that was a very very good explanation man, you're getting good at this, almost as good as me, LOL. [8D]

I mean you've been here since '05 and have over 5,000 posts. You're still about 3 1/2 years older than me though. I don't turn 20 until August.

True, I cant believe I have almost 6000 posts, LOL. Sure as hell wont catch others around the 10,000 post mark, but I'm trying, LOL. Atleast you act like your 20 or older, LOL. You're pretty mature for your age compared to others.

Motor Trend & Car and Driver both just got a 14.2 out of the V6 Altima. It would have took some mind numbing skill for you to pull the win offon a car thats almost a second faster that yours off thru thru the1/4. Tell your friend to quit being a d*ckhole and get a clue.

ok so on the expressway at about 1:30 AM the expressway is empty... so im driving home and some p*$$y altima (looked like an 08) pulls up to me andstarts teasing me and flashing his high beam, my friend and i look up ahead and see its dead empty so i just sayh what the hell... we start goin at it and for some reason that Altima blew me... my friend said "if you knew how to drive better you would've won" but what exactly does he mean? i thought with an automatic transmission you just step on the gas and go? how do i "drive better" to make the car go faster?

P.S. i drive a 2004 V6 mustang....
So he's a ***** yet your the one who got smoked?

also something to keep in mind...

the altima SE-Rcomes stock with 5.17 gears, I know the OP won't know what that means but it's pretty rediculous for a stock car

I know the 3.5's are pretty quick cars we test drove one a while back for my wife, it was pretty impressive actually. I think we are still going to buy one but it's going to be a 2.5, we want the best gas mpg as possible for her. She does alot of driving for her job, last month her fuel bill was near $600 in the Jeep.
