Default Lightning kill

Been seeing this black Lightning around where I live, only mod I know he has is after market exhaust (very loud) and have never had a chance to run him. Well the other day I pull up to a light and a truck pulls right up next to me, I just looked over a little bit because he kept edging forward a little bit, but I was messing with my phone and just thought it was an older F150 so I kind of ignored him. Light turns green and he kind of gets on it, but not much and I need to get over so I slowly speed up to move over and he speeds up a bit, so I speed up some more, and then he hammers it so I dropped it to second and hammer it as well (we were at 30ish) and thats when I heard the supercharger whine lol, and was like oops need to really give it a little more lol, we only ran up to about 120 and by then (he kept up until I hit third) I had maybe about 3-4 car lengths (don't really know, could have been more, but who really cares) I slow down and wait for him and he pulled up and gave me a wave and a thumbs up and was laughing I told him I thought he was just some old F150 (he got a kick out of it) and told me he thought I regular 5.7 and then he hammered it again, and I had to turn around to go back to my street. Either way, I want to run into this guy again and see what he has (I'm just running a canned tune, CAI, 180 thermo, and catback). I'm guessing he was pretty stock (the whine from the supercharger did overtake the exhaust though) with the lead I put on him (he was at my rear door when I was in second starting to pass him and @ the 2-3 shift I was pulling away pretty easily).

Anyone from here in Hampton know him (Was an older black gentleman) the lightning was black, didn't really see anything else on it (did notice the HIDS). Anywho, I know it's not a Mustang, but it's better than the tards int the Altimas, Maximas and V6 stangs that always try to run me (car is completely debadged so that probably plays into it a bit. One guy in a nice Mach1 asked why I put brembos on a V6 lol).

Nice race. Lightnings & SRT-8s are fast company.

I wonder if he had a stock S/C since it was whining so loud?

I raced a few stock Cobras and I think most think that whine is really louder than it really is just because their not used to hearing it. I know I never get tired of hearing it.

Dunno, the only thing I know for sure that was aftermarket was the exhaust, but what kind? Who knows could have been flowmasters thrown in, the exhaust was pretty damn loud (louder than mine) and the supercharger whine was louder still (I could hear it very clearly when he first hit it).

MrRogers lol @ the image, though it's missing it's usual gay thread reference text that is usually embedded in it. I ran a C6Z06 on the I95 the other day as well, one never really appreciates how fast those cars are until you get stomped on like you're driving a Toyota prius, I might as well have been in reverse with the way he ran away.

Now why would you do that?

Ha - I love doing that to people. I had some dude in a BMW 335 riding my *** on the highway. He got real tiny, real quick. It took him forever to do the flyby....like 3 miles down the highway
