mustang launch
the best way to launch an auto is mash the brake, and bring the RPM's up to right before you start to spin the tires and then mash the brake a little harder, and wait for the light to signal for hell to break loose, then gun it....despite what many think it does take skill to launch an automatic
Don't think he meant with mods.
TheAuto GT is the easiest car to launch IMO. (granted my 20" do help, although they slow me down).
Before you launch just spin the tires quick to clean them off(no burn out). Then just gas brake to about 3000RPM. With my 20" wheels i barely ever have tire-spin. With 17" or 18" probably a bit more. You'll just have to feel what RPM level is best to launch at. Before you goto the track i don't see any harm in practicing your launch in a secure area. (NOT the full 1/4mile, just the launch)
