First off, the new HR Z's are low-mid 13's. The older DE Z's are mid-high 13's. S197's are low-mid 13's. PLEASE explain to me how that's not close....
Secondly, you are completely wrong about the G35. It's the EXACT same car as the Z, but w/ 225~ more pounds to push w/ actually less power. I don't know where the hell you got that nonsense from....
Thirdly, you are just like all the people who say "Torque is what matters, not hp." "Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races." and all that crap. And just like them, you're WRONG. The people who say that have virtually no idea what torque even is relative to horsepower, or how it is truely measured in a particular car. If you're just looking at the number ratings, you obviously don't have a clue. Our own Gene K could really school you in this area.
Do us all afavor and read up a bit. I think you'll enlighten yourself.....

Hello again Captain Clueless. Guess what-
- The quickest HR Z time is quicker than the quickest S197 GT time. They also consistently trap higher.
- Equal drivers, ANY LS1 F-bod is going to walk a new GT. They've dipped into the 12's stock, and trap considerably higher as well.
So NO, the new GT's are not faster than the Z, nor the SS. Espec not the SS. So you are wrong. AGAIN.....
