So today I got the chance to go on a ralley type event with the Southern Arizona Mustang Club, which was quite a bit of fun. We drove about 120-130miles, which is quite a bit to do considering there were no freeways or anything, and a majority of it took place around curvey mountain roads, but it was a good chance to hang out with fellow mustang owners, and definately a good chance to just have a good time. As much as you guy's laugh about how bad living in the desert is, we are still home to the most Hi-po mustangs you could imagine, and we enjoy our car's 12 months out of the year. So anyway, here's a picture from the rally event.




So anyway, the second car back in the picture, is a fully modded 2003 Cobra, well technically I guess you would say bolt ons. It had a Ported Blower, smallest pulley offered, lower pulley, heat exchanger, and a host of suspension goodies. We ran against eachother a couple times, from a standstill of course, and both times we were pretty much even to 100, I think I may have pulled had we kept going, but I was quite impressed. He said he dynoed at 560rwhp, so I was happy that I was keeping right next to him.

 

That's great! It's always a great day when you get a race against a worhty car!!!
