I said run your car to the redline not into it. If hes blowing engines he should try changing his oil. A lot of cars are regularly running hard and most cars will go well past 100k.
He just drives hard, all the time, literally, all the time

Also double clutch if you want to save your synchros too. (clutch to neutral, blip to 4000 or so, and shift into 3rd)

It's not 1947 anymore. Doubleclutching isn't needed. Just rev match your down shifts.
