This past saturday, I'm on my out to meet up with some friends with my g/f in the car. A Black E55 AMG pulls next to me, floors it, and pulls away pretty quick. So, I figured I would let it go, but then further down the down he slows down. Now, as some of you know, I drive an auto, and driving an auto, with winter tires, and the kind of power I put down, with cold roads means no traction, end of story.....

He stops at a red light, and I am behind him. So, he nails it off the line, I start to accelerate until about 3K, and I punch it, feather it all the way to the top of 2nd, hook into third(by some miracle) and passes him, and put about 6 lengths on him, before I hit the brakes, and he does a little flyby. Then he keeps urging me on to go from a roll, by his constant flooring it and pulling away.

So, this guy makes me mad, as he keeps close, and keeps flooring it, pulling away, and slowing down for me to catch up. So, I said the hell with it. I pull up behind him, about a 1/2 car behind. I'm doing about 35ish. He floors it, I floor it right after, and immediately pull on him, and my front bumper passes his car. Now, here is where the traction issue gets involved. I was pegging the rev limiter at about 85 mph, and my car would not shift into 3rd gear, no matter how much feather I did. So, AMg starts to pull up to the very front of my bumper, before we hit some train tracks. I slow down, and he slows do as well.

Now, I try to get him to go again from a higher speed, hoping my car will hit third, however, he loses interest, and turns off a mile down the road. Also, the entire way of me trying to get him to look, I wanted to give him a thumbs up, he would not look my way once. He also kept his distance if I were ahead or behind him.

Now, I know I can beat this car, but, I cannot bloody wait until 50+ degree weather, and for my Falkens to go back on. I bet he told all of his rich buddies he smoked a stang or something. Who knows. Thanks for reading everyone.

I looked up some specs on the E55, and it looks like they are able to run mid 12's @ about 114 or something like that. I am surprised, but I know I would blow his doors off.
