dude i bought my first stick car, i driven stick a few times n basicaly taught myself, lol mine has my mods n i ran a 14.1 i was trappin 101 so that makes me happy atleast, but stick is def lil harder at the track, id idnt miss any shfts or nothing, just my 60s sucked

 

Get some slicks. I believe u can row to a 13.7/8 at best just because u r lacking some needed power. If u want a mid 13 car, grab a better flowing filter, shifter, off rd mid pipe and a good tune. I think u should have went with 4:10's initially, but 3:73's are better than the .27's. All u need is about 240rwhp at your current weight, sticky tires, good driving and mid 13's r there.

 

It really depends on the tires you're running. If they are crappy street tires, you are probably not going to get near a 13, let alone a mid 13. So, what kind of tires are you on?

 

My first time ever at the track in a stock auto LT1 resulted in.. (first time to a track in my life...and had the car 2 weeks)
1st pass ever - 14.1 @ 97mph 2.1 60ft..
2nd pass ever - 14.2 @ 97mph 2.2 60ft..
3rd pass ever - 14.2 @ 96mph 2.2 60ft...

As said above..don't count him out due to lack of experience...some people get lucky.

 

Since you've had your car for about a year and I'm sure you're comfortable with driving it, I'm gonna shoot for a 13.9 @ 101. Good luck

 

I've got BFG Traction TA's on there now. I've got 2 weeks before I take it to the track, so I'm going to get a set of BFG g-force T/A KDW's and a new shifter before I run it.
