LOL.. and I thought *I* was old.. :-p

Time/Place: Sometime in the middle of December, 1990. I think I'd had my license for abouttwo weeks or so, North Tarrant Parkway in Keller, TX back when it was brand new and nothing but trees around for about a mile and a half.

Him: 69 Chevy Nova with a built 500+ long block (can't remember the exact engine it was almost twenty years ago.. LOL )

Me: My dad's 69 Cougar w/ a built 396.

I didn't get spanked as bad as I thought I was gonna, but the funny part was hauling *** by the cop that was sitting parked on the corner of a sidestreet and North Tarrant doing 90+ and watching the lights come on after I went by... I just rememberscreaming"SSSSSSSSSSSHhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiii tttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!" and just stomping the pedal. I went over thehumpright before precinct line Rd doing probably 115 andtheboth front tires came off the ground. LOLI think I must crapped myself because my dad literally asked me what the smell in the car was when I got home. LOL.. Needless to say I took the lllooonnngggg way home that night.. hehe.. :-p Stupid *** thing to do running like that but I'll never forget it.. Never did see if the other guy got caught or not, it was some guy that was a year or two ahead of me in school. I wasn't paying much attention at the time though.. lol

First race at the track was in my 06 GT vs a bolt on New Edge, I won.

 

St Thomas dragway, in my brothers LX 5.0. Matched agaist an old Camaro. Tree dropped and all I saw was the roof of this car as it left on one wheel, scared the s**t out of me. I haad a 3.3 (or so ) reaction. Did mention, leaving the pits, I backed over my brothers cooler.

We went from a dig on the highway late at night. By the time I hit 90 he was way back. Hehe

when: year and half ago, he was messing with me on the highway then takes off so I punch it and reel him in and pass him by about 1 car by the time my 85 mph speedo was pegged.

First real race was in the my dads 96 GT (check the sig) against some guy in a newer Civic, wouldn't race me from a stop so we go from a 40 mph roll (good for me because I can't launch that car) and I instantly put probly 5 cars on him and by 120 I probably had him by 10 cars at the very least. At the next stoplight I told him it was a v6

Walked him two out of three times. The first time I didn't know we were racing.

was coming down a bridge (20 ish) and the GTI pulls up to me w/ ~4 guys in it
he speeds up i follow suit he (to about 25). suddenly he floors it. i go WOT and have him by about 2 cars at the bottom of the bridge
not really a race but my first go at it

 

My first race was in the car in my sig. (97 Camaro 3800 manual)

I won by a fender. I hit 3rd gear and kept pulling and pulling.
