I was down in So Cal for the weekend checking out the Fabulous Ford Forever Show at Knotts Berry Farm....Parked outside of the show in the shopping mall parking lot was a SRT8 Challenger...I did'nt bring my camera, but another member did, here are some pics..(scroll down to post #11 for the Challenger pics)

One of the rags released some specs on it a couple months ago. Theys said it weighed in at just under 4100 lbs....I can beleive it...Seeing it in person, I can tell you that it's huge!!!

 

looks pretty good. I'd still stick with my S197

I like the looks, but they really screwed the pooch with that back up light in the middle of the tail lights

 

err I thought the challenger didnt have LSD....but it has rubber on both sides of the car in the pic???

 

I have been seeing them on car haulers up here for alomost 2 monthes now......they are around

 

I thought that was just dirt? How can it not have a trac lock? 425hp and no limited slip.

 

The #1 Challenger off the assembly line went for $400K at Barrette-Jackson and the #2 went for $175K. It must be nice to be rich... and stupid.

IMO the car looks OK but it just doesn't have the gutsy look of the original. Look at those wimpy looking fender flares for instance. [:-]
