whats up guys, im a long time reader, first time poster. i drive a 96 thunderbird with the 4.6L v8. i am a huge mustang fan and know alot about them. im a big fox body fan, and plan on buying an LX hatch this summer.

ran into a guy near my college driving a 92 5.0 LX hatch, on a 3-lane road. we kept passing each other thru traffic and finally met up down the road with no cars around, side by side. i started talking to him from my car asking what he had done to it. he had an h-pipe, cold air intake, flowmaster exhaust, headers, automatic tranny. it sounded real nice and he agreed to run me. we pulled a u-turn and lined up. i counted it off and we took off from a dead stop. we launced pretty even, me with a slight edge, and i just pulled him all the way to around 70 where i braked, with about a 1 1/2 car lead. he was pretty impressed and we chatted a little more when we came to a light with cars in front of us. im pretty surprised i was able to pull on a fox body, but i guess his 3.08s and automatic tranny didnt help as much, have it been a 5-speed he prob would of pulled me.

hahaha thunderbird...fastest living room on earth . I wanna mod my 92 lx 3.8 l but the engine is shot and im just gunna drive it till i buy a mustang.. sweet ride and nice kill
