^^^^ remember this time they will have a manual gearbox and fromaroll will be different than racing those turds autos tranny. But in the 1/4 mile i will expent S197GT to hand their assess.

the challenger rt is going to have the higher hp 5.7L compared to the current charger rt...its alot heavier than the GT, but the RT with 370hp and a manual transmission should make up for the weight difference.

2010-2011, Mustang will have a 6.2L SOHC V8 with 400+ HP as an option along with the standard 4.0 V6 and 4.6 V8

I dont see where everyone is dissing on the SRT-8 5spd Automatics.....not a slushbox, by any means. Easily the smoothest, quickest-shifting, fastest downshifting transmission in an American 4-door sedan. Very impressive, you all need to DRIVE one before you rag on it. The Challenger R/T will get crushed by the mustang GT, the SRT-8 Challengers should surprise people. I think they will be 12.7xx cars with the 6-spd trans and 3.91lsd options.

Seen one up close....Two things I would like changed on it....Swap the steering wheel..Damn thing looks identical to the Chargers....Oh, and a Diet.....
The car is huge...So I can see why it has 20's on it...Any smaller andthe carwould look horrid..

The Challenger will need a LSD if it is going to hang with any Mustang GTs, especially since most GTs are modded by now!
Otherwise, it's just going to spin that single tire into oblivion!
