A black primer notchback with a 408 stroker, mild cam, stock exhaust and a healthy shot on top. Once he revved it up it was obviously not stock, but at idle and low rpm's it didnt sound like anything special. Thats what I love about seein beat up/primered foxes at the track... theyr like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get

Typhoon/Cyclone..........or my old Dodge Spirit R/T that used to terrorize Stangs/Camaros
info on the spirit....what is it
4 door Dodge sedan with a 224 pony 16v intercooled turbo and a 5spd which tested at 0-60 in 5.8 Little bugger would run and there were many Stang GTs and Maros that had embarassed looks on their faces when I got through with them [8D]

The R/T version came with a powerful 2.2 L dohc turbo III with cylinder head designed by Lotus. This engine was rated at 224 hp and 217tq
At the time, the R/T was advertised as "the fastest sedan made in America", with Chrysler placing its performance above the BMW M5. It could hit 60 mph (97 km/h) in 5.8 seconds, according to Car and Driver, making it one of the quickest front wheel drive cars ever offered in the American market. It was chosen as Motor Trend magazine's "Domestic Sport Sedan of the Year", beating the Ford Taurus SHO for 1991 and 1992. Just 1,208 Spirit R/Ts, all built in Mexico, were produced in 1991 — 774 in red and 434 in white. An additional 191 were built in 1992 — 92 red, 68 white, and 31 silver. The only significant change for 1992 was a lower first gear ratio for reduced turbo lag, woodgrain dashboard trim as used on the Chrysler LeBaron sedan, and a speedometer calibrated to 150 mph rather than 120 mph.

Actually, one of the biggest sleepers back in the day was a built 327 chevy Vega [&:]

I like them too much. They look awesome, and hook like hell, due to the 10.5 inch in the rear. 18's look small, I'm thinking 19's not sure.

A Sleeper is a Honda with zero markings, bumper falling off, and runs 11's/12's. IMO

If I ever have money to burn after I finish school, I'm going to stick a VW bug body onto a stripped down Porche.

I dont think of any mustang as a sleeper, mustangs are performance cars. Sleepers are cars that perform that arent supposed to or arent made to.

This is a sleeper...

I would consider TRBOPWR's car to be a sleeper. Most people don't expect a lot out of a 4cyl fox. The turbo SVO were and still are badass sleepers.
