A friend of mine had a 1980 Ford Fairmont with a built Mustang 5.0 engine and drivetrain out of a 88 Mustang. That thing was a real sleeper.

ORIGINAL: Projectquick
I would consider TRBOPWR's car to be a sleeper. Most people don't expect a lot out of a 4cyl fox. The turbo SVO were and still are badass sleepers.
Well thank you, butto methe hood scoop and dualwing sort of throw out the sleeper idea. If people know ahead of time that it's a 4 banger and then see it run they are always impressed, but other than that from looks alone I think most expect it to be semi-fast at least. My Sentra is way more of a sleeper than the SVO...

LOL.. the gremlin always gives me visions of wayne's world.. [&:]aacckkk.. I'm with JD on that one.. that car fell out of the fugly tree and hit every branch on the way down..

But for a sleeper, a 96 Spoon civic SI hatchback with a B-18 swap and twin GT-35's.. Full interior and primer-coated grey on stock rims with Falken's..

Though I have to admit the Spirit R/T's and the GNX would be very hard competition to beat there.. Or they Cyclone/Typhoons.
