Stock for stock I've seen far better times posted for C6 cars than GT500...of course maybe it's all reflection of driver abilitys (but that would mean more tool bags who can't drive own GT500s than Vettes....that can't be right can it? [8D][8D])

It's been established by many ppl on here that he must have run up against a C5.......And I would'nt be so quick to say that a LS2 C6 beats a GT500 in stock form.....They are botheven on acceleration numbers.....But would give the win to the Vette on handling..
The win goes to the Gt500 on getting easy horspower from modding....As is the case on allblown/turboed cars...

as embarassing as it sounds that vette (I'm assuming 05-07) beats our infamous GT500 on the quarter mile. If you were side to side with him, I say he probably pulled 2 spark plugs out or something before racing u lol

pulled upside looked like maybe 04-07 vette @ 60 mph dropped into 3rd and we both got on it, l stayed side by side with him all the way thru 3rd when we both shut down - he probably just couldn't drive right?

Some people would say "what kind of an information source is that? I'll just add that from all the times that I've been on the track those 1/4 mile times come closest to what I've seen for most cars listed on that website (the ones I could remember at least) so to me that's a valid enough reason to think that Vette would most likely (obviously with a 0.2 sec difference it's a driver's race) beat the GT500
