Ford and Mazda have a long running partnership where they both
design and make different parts of the same car and sell the same car under different names.
Ford never "bought" Mazda or other way round.
They just "cooperated" on several cars and light trucks.
Ford is a major if not the largest shareholder of Mazda stock
but its not an "owning" majority share amount.
It's really wierd. Ford does own other brands though like Jag Land Rover and ect.

Just a bit more history on this was that the Probe was supposed to be the new Mustang! That's right, a FWD Stang. Thanks to the loud outcry and letter writing campaign of stang community Ford finaly relented and stayed with the Mustang on the Fox platform we all know and love!

so this was a twin turbo rx7??? how much do you beat him by??? How long did you race till??? I know these guys were talking alot of **** and the one guy only had a crap N/A colbalt but, seriously I though a twin turbo RX7 would be a least 200 something HP not to mention alot lighter then your car.
