It's 255hp and 217ft-lbs with a 1.3l rotary twin turbo engine...

Ok I just got this info.
255-hp, and 217 lbs/ft of torque
plus a curb weight of around 2500-2600lbs. So I call bs on your kill. Seeing as how your mustang weighs about what 3300-3450lbs?? with more torque which shouldn't have come into play on a roll race. I think right around the same HP too. I just don't understand???

It's really wierd. Ford does own other brands though like Jag Land Rover and ect.

unfortunately i would have to agree unless the engine in the mazda was starting to go (apex seals are notorious for failing in rotary type engines) or the driver of that car is absolutely horrid behind the wheel the win should have gone to the RX7

the twins on the mazda are sequential so turbo lag is minimal if present at all

I have seen them at the track here, stock for stock a new edge could beat one, nice looking cars though

Good kill. I've seen some mighty fast RXs in my time; I'll you that. I'm talking 10 second street cars with a/c and power steering. The sh*t-talking would get to me, too......good thing it back-fired on his as*!
