Default burn out's

quick question.
when i go to the track and am about to race, should i do a burn out, seeing that i dont have posi, and only one tire spins. does it help?
i know i only have a V6 but i can still spin the "tire" if i punch it off the line.
thanks

unless you're on slicks or drag radials, doing a burnout won't do any good. At the track there's usually idiots who use the water box and don't know how to clear off the water and end up dragging water up to the line, so sometimes it's necessary to spin the tires clean. just do a quick rolling spin and that should do the trick

ya at the track i go to you cant really drive around it....you have to go through it a bit......so thats a negative on the burn out then, unless tires are wet cool thanks

not sure with your rear end, but with stock tires you should just spin them around a few times just to simply clean them off, no smoke or anything like that

Don't bother smoking your tires. You'll just make them greasy, wrong compound to be smoking.

Just do a one wheel peel for 2-3 seconds to clean it off and you're ready to go.
