Then your not doing it right. I have launched at higher RPMs with more HP on less tire.

Clint, you need to have someone record an in car launch video and see what ur doing.

 

slip it a lttle slower, and add more gas with your right foot while slowly slipping..try that.

 

1.8s on street tires is like a 13.2 S197. It can be done but how often and how many weekend warriors can do it????

 

1.66 on 245 street tires

 

Does your car even make enough power to cut a 1.6 60ft on slicks? Timeslip for proof?

i cut a 1.9 60ft on 285/35/18 sumitomos my first day and 3rd launch at the track with over 400rwhp so it id def possible with practice for youso keep tryin and better tires never hurt!

I just don't see a 94GT with minor bolt ons pulling a 1.6 60'.. Not enough torque.. 1.9's, MAYBE 1.8's but not THAT low, and not on street tires either..
