Umm if he had the banks kit or propane injection he would be really fast.

 

Diesel trucks can be made to kick @$$, there is a 2500 around here running 11.40's, and an F-250 running 11.20's, now thats fast especially for some 4wd trucks.

Was it a turbo diesel? Those things can be made to haul with few mods. I saw a flip chip on some show once where they took a stock f250 Turbo disel and Chevy 2500 Turbo diesel and ran it with a 4 stage chip. Depending on the stage they had it at, they could perform better or with more economy.

 

about 3 weeks ago at the track I saw an f250 smoke a camaro. It ran low 13's best part the track announcer was saying the guy in the camaro must be wondering how he got beat buy a truck on 35's

 

yeah, my dad has a 2004 Dodge Deisel that came stock with 610 lb-ft torque. with a straight pipe exhaust, intake, and tune, it now has around 430HP and 780 lb-ft torque...all i can say is that the truck hauls ***!

 

diesel trucks kick ***.. turbo upgrade, propane injection, nitrous, chip, ive seen them go well over 2000 ft of torque

 

Friend has one that runs 14.2 with just chip, free mods and exhaust. 4 wheel drive too!

I have a 2001 deisel VW jetta Tdi with a chip and injectors. Over 200 ft-lbs of torque from a four banger and it gets almost 50 mpg.
