hahaha

I loved the drawing.

So to the guy that has the fast v6, just a question, if you were going to put all that money into your car and make it that fast why not just start with a GT? Do you get better gas milage or you want to be a sleeper? I am just curious.

To the op..... beings how the town you're in is so small, it very well could be a coincidence that they were there when you were. On the contrary, you could be correct that they know you're the new guy in town and could be trying to see what you're up too......

i bought them when they were brand new, so the markup on gts was rediculous, and i refused to pay over msrp. i got the v6 for 2500 off msrp. never intended to mod it like i did but oh well.

i also owned a 2003 cobra which i recently sold. the gas mileage between the v6 turbo and the v8 s/c was night and day, about double in the v6

Oh ok thats coo, do you have any videos of your car in action? I also want to hear how it sounds, wondering if it sounds like a v8?

Hm okay that is a fast v6. You could take my heavy convertible, but not by *that* much... I've got a bunch of goodies, just a big heavier car with a bit less horse (a lot less torque tho; 515 is an assload...) And if you really wouldn't call your car "goddamn fast" you are way jaded. A 800 horsepower car is just "retarded." To a guy whose other car is a 93 subaru, and whose previous fastest car was a 91 Toyota celica, the Mustand is goddamn fast

And I thought I would share the story, since I was just driving around on the street and saw basically the entire police department in like five minutes and wanted to share. Jesus, talk about taking the fun out of driving around and sharing... you guys are pills. Sheesh.

Small town? I thought 29 square miles was decent sized I don't think the first two cops were interested in me, but the last one turning down that road was definately coming to say hi and hopefully catch me at WOT.

Yeah, the horsepower war has gotten ridiculous. When I first got my car, there was basically *nothing* around that was faster. Things have changed since 2000 There still isn't much, but I suppose around these forums things are different. Anyway, if you ask me, the car is still damn fast. Folks around here are jaded.

Yeah the picture sucked I thought that was part of the charm.

And I am an off topic guy now? Oh man, that is terrible, getting called an off topic guy by a bunch of newbies...

Hm cannot edit; left NYC for a little town in the mountains surrounded by lakes right near the NY state border in NJ. All that is around me are pine trees and bears. Sweetness... except the bears. Like Stephen Colbert, I hate bears. HATE them.

even when/if i S/C.. and if i do i'd go with something that'll put me up close to the 450rwhp/tq and suspension I still wouldn't say it's that Fast.. and I've only had slow cars before this.. when there are tons of cars around that are much faster than a 450rwhp mustang you can only say you are pretty quick...

heres one of me going 12.29 w/ 9psi and old flowmaster mufflers

heres one with the gt mufflers on it (i think)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=1qT51GkAp2A this was with 17" rims and dr's (instead of my 15s with slicks and skinnies) and a bad trans (you can see how bad the car dips in between shifts, i was having to fight it). i broke the input shaft the next day racing a gto on my way back home from a friends house lol

Wait wait wait...

TONS of cars around faster than my car?

No way. Just... no way, unless you literally mean tons, in which case fine, a single C6 Z06 weighs "tons," so fine. But you are living in a dream world if you think that.

My car, which makes 420 to the rear wheels, which is probably just under 500 at the motor if you figure about a 15 percent loss through the drivetrain, is faster than probably 99 percent of cars in the world. I don't mean at the strip or on this forum; I mean in the wide world. No, it won't compare to some built monster, but that isn't most cars; that is maybe 1 out of a hundred.

Come on, lets not be silly. And in the end, "goddamned fast" is a judgement call, and I am going to still say my car is "goddamned fast."
