Thanks for the encouragement.LOL!Yeah it was a last minute thing,one time trial and one elimination pass.I did knock 6/10s off the second run.Lotas wheel spin on the shifts etc.No excuses,I sucked big time but had a freakin' blast!I do believe some tires and a real launch technique with some track prep are in order,But not necessarily in thar order.The best S197 run was a 9.20 stock GT manual,And the GTO's were only getting 8.90's.There also was an 04 SRT4 with a turbo mod of sorts that was getting 8.80's.I think our track sucks a little also,mostly me though.Going again Friday night,looking for some 6.80'sLOL!

GT500 is an easy 7 second car in decent air. I saw stock one running 7.7son the factory Supercars a few weeks ago.
TrapSpeed was in the low 90s.

Ever consider drag radials? It's extremely tricky to launch a car with that much power & torque.
