ok, so tonight was friggen amazing. first off, i went cruising around town and ended up in a pack of F-bodies that you wouldn't even believe (14 cars total, oldest car was a '67 Camaro, newest was an '02 WS6). i just drove around with those guys and gals for about an hour, then i went to Hot Summer Nights downtown. it's basically a big Harley and Corvette meet every year. well i got the suprise of my life, there was not one but TWO 2009 Corvette ZR-1's there, and i got to ride in one of them!!!!! all i can say is HOLY ****!!!! that car is friggen amazing! the guy i was riding with gave the car about half throttle and broke the rears loose at 35 in 2nd. that sound is something i will never be able to describe! it gave me chills, and it still does just thinking about it!

cruised with 13 other F-Body cars
went to Hot Summer Nights
saw two brand new ZR1's
rode in one of them!

overall, fun night! still pissed that i forgot my camera at home, but i didn't really know this was going to happen, what can ya do

 

those ZR1s are sick. theres someone around here that has one sitting on some slicks. everytime i see him driving im drivnig my beater. i wanna see if he'd take a challenge just to see how ridiculously fast it is. most of the vette owners around here are older and dont seem to race, but looking at this ones tires he seems into it

 

I love the ZR1s in the blue color. I wishI had the money for one
