Default To the owner of the Mustang GT convertible...I'm sorry

Short of putting up my lid to yell at you, there really was nothing I could have done

I'm pulling up to a light, and see a county police car about 3 cars back from a cute little grey looked to be an 08 Mustang GT convertible. Some young guy driving, it's dark out and he's in the left lane. I pull up behind a car in the right lane, past the police car. The light turns green, GT man gets in front and we're coming up to a light, where just after, it turns to 1 lane. Light turns red, he's in the left lane and the police car is again 3 or so cars behind him. He obviously didn't see him due to what happened next. I had passed the other guy and was now right beside him.

I got that feeling, even though I didn't look over, I was in the lane that merged into his in about 300 yards or so, and ... well... Mustang drivers are just different lol. Light turns green, I mosey off. I'm not even accelerating with 1/4 throttle, shifting before 7,000 rpm's so it doesn't look or sound like I'm trying to get in front. I hear this engine roar and chirping tires as he hits 2nd, and I glance in my rear view mirror. The moron was trying to catch up lol. Take it from a sportbike rider, if we don't hammer it hard, most likely there is a reason. I honestly was not trying to play with him at all

I glance down, doing 70 in a 40 and I casually get in front of him. 1/4 mile later I see red and blue lights behind the car. He's about 100 yards back by this time.

Sorry buddy.

I don't understand racing bikes against cars. Maybe I'm just an idiot but I don't.
I have no craving for comparing them, even if I knew I could beat one.
