sorry i gotta raise the [sm=bs.gif] here. you beat a fi 4.6 by four cars??? you only run 13s big guy which makes me think that stang was not racing. you beat all those other cars by however many car lengths those poeple must suck at driving. im not a great driver but my friends 98 z28 runs 13.5 and i run 14.7 but he probably make 300+ to the wheels im only 190rwhp so with another 110 horse i would be right next to him if not eatin him up cus i already pull off the line. Im respect the ls1 dont get me wrong but i think you went a little over the top with that. Any 4.6 huh?? well md would leave u like you were a honda and there are many other stangs on here that would stomp ur ls1. there is always someone faster so dont run your mouth on the internet with your 13 second 350. thank you have a nice day

 

Well said. The LS1 is fast but there will always be something faster. I have a friend with an 11 second Civic. I hate the car but it runs 11s. That is alot quicker than that 13 sec. LS1.

5.0's are a joke, along with their owners. I absoultely love the guys who claim 13's stock in their 15 second rockets. The LS1 guys are a funny bunch as well. You have the ones who actually mod the LS1 and is quite fast, they seem to be the one who respects Mustangs. But, the typical LS1 owner (intake, exhaust) 13.0 in the 1/4 if lucky is the usual ricer, with comments such as "I smoke everything on the road and all Mustangs" "Or my LS1 owns all" yet they are the ones who can't drive worth a **** and don't know a ****ing thing about cars period.

There is no stock SS in the world whose only mod consists of 4.10 gears that can beat an 03-04 stock cobra...

 

Nah but there was a 3.42 geared 99 M6 Z28 that was spanking more than a few Cobra's down here. recently he went with a cam, heard he is puttin down 440+ whp now, it did 320 stock. We think it was some sort of freak, cuz we havent seen any others dyno that high with nothing done to them.

Oh and for the young guy who doesnt know here is a Pantera. The badest ones came with a 351C 4V, if you dont know what that is, I can educate you on it too. okay? Its no big deal to me, as far as the whole math thing, the newest vehicles I can afford are at least 7 years old. Infact only two vehicles I own were built after you were born, the rest are pre 79's. Having built more than a couple 5.0's and knowing full well what they run and what it takes to make them run, I know what year your car is. Just hold up on the attitude, read and learn something. Mom and dad never bought me a car, they dont buy my race gas, or my tires. So you are ahead of me because they helped you out. Its okay with me if they bought it for you or whatever. If you try to play that you know everything, you will be made to look stupid.

For what its worth, I like your ride. Looks alot like the 89 I dropped a 306 with E heads and a Paxton into. That was a fun car, stock a 5.0 isnt very impressive anymore, but built they will run real well...

AHHHH, I beg to differ, there, big guy. My 02 Z, A4 w/ 2.73, lid, and cat back ran .12 & .09 sec faster than a stock 04 Cobra twice, back to back. Both of us are very good drivers (him=15, me 18yrs racing). He then pitted, we did the pulley, plugs, CAI, and some other little stuff. Hahahaha, then he left me like I was stopped. But as for stock, Naaaa.
