Slow day for racing in more ways than one. 5 runs in 6 hours. Hot with a headwind.

My 5 runs 60' 1/4 mph

1.80 13.32 @ 102.49 (1st run & best of the day)
1.74 13.38 @ 101.34
1.79 13.75 @ 100.46 (missed 3rd)
1.86 13.53 @ 101.28
2.00 13.52 @ 102.31 (spun)

I was 3-4 mph slower than last time in May but I was hooking like a **** with the M/T ET streets. Power-wise nothing has changed since then but I have added steeda springs and tokico d-spec adjustable shocks. I went full soft on the front struts and full hard on the rear shocks and the car was hooking hard. I was taken off guard and didn't always get on the gas fast enough, nosing over a couple times.

youtube video (I apologize for the shaky camera, I need a word with my assistant)

best run of the day isn't included, camera died mid race.

nice runs.... where is that track? btw a good hook and 60' generally leads to lower traps

I've never suffered lower trap speeds by finding traction. I have suffered them, however, in hot air and a headwind. I've seen a 2-3 mph drop with heat and a 2 mph drop with a headwind. Nice runs considering the conditions.

Gilmi, Manitoba, Canada...a long way from you. Find the boarder between MN & ND and go up a couple hundred miles.

I almost forgot to add something funny. There was a 3rd generation plymouth duster at the track with the lincense plate "UR2SLOW".

He ran 15.3 twice when I was watching. How do you ride around with that lincense plate and back it up with a low 15 second car??

Well nobody ever said you have to actually back it up.
