What mods should i get to run a mid 14?....i have a 99 v6 5 spd with true duals and cai...im bout to get o/r x-pipe...just wonderin what else i should get to make my car run a 14....thanks in advance...

A stronger clutch won't explode under the extra power the SC would give you.

I've had a stock clutch explode on me. It's not fun, or cheap.

 

It would be tough without a true adder. There is one guy, matthockey, who runs a 13.5 with his six but he has a 100 shot doesn't he?

You def need radials, PI, some serious weight reduction, at the least.

 

yea he does..but he runs 13.5 w/o the juice...

OMG, how does ur clutch explode?

Go lower gears, oldest trick in the book. Do u get tyre spin on takeoff? Go wider tyres. If it's manual, shift and clutch right, and please man, put your garbage in a garbage bag I cannot stress that enough.
