Just a warning, once you run a 351 in a late model car.. it's over. You'll be hard pressed to find a vehicle that is as much fun to drive. I currently have a 2v 4.6 97 T-bird and a 351 94 T-Bird, it doesn't take a genius to figure out which one I enjoy driving more.
I was implying late model swaps. I'll be more specific next time haha. I'm not sure of what swaps have been done on the SN95 platform so I'm speaking from the MN12 understanding of engine swaps. I know with the MN12 platform the 351 is the biggest motor you can squeeze into the bay and that requires some cutting and banging around.
I'm sure there are more exciting vehicles out there, but truth be told when it comes to newer street vehicles many of them don't have the appeal of big displacement, especially from ford. So a 351 swap, though not impressive in some peoples eyes, is quite a bump up from a 302 or a 4.6 set up and it's a totally different experience. And also consider that when you build your own vehicle that requires a swap the experience is increased ten fold, so yes you would in fact be hard pressed to find a more exciting ride from the subjective perspective. There are dozens of cars that have more sheer power and performance than mine, but nothing compares to the feeling of a car you built yourself firing up with something a little extra crammed under the hood.
And as for slapping a toyota motor under the hood of my SN95, I don't even know how to respond to something like that. I don't even own an SN95 vehicle anymore, sold that for another MN12.
