how fast are the wrx turbos from the from the factory. i know they'll out run my car cause my brother works with a guy that has one with a 100 shot (i think) on it and one night he was runnin about about 120 and met a cop and outrun them even tho i don't like imports that cars looks good

 

Between 14 & 14.5 with a trap of about 99.

They're easy to mod and get good gains from. Stock they aren't anything to jump for joy over.

i would have gotten an STI or an EVO 9 MR if I was still into the import scene..
they are bad ***..a few mods and they are in the high 12s.

shiet..stock running damn near 13 flat lol.

 

Having fully built an STi, if I had to do it all over again I would have built up an EVO IX instead. Way cheaper and easier to mod / do work on, much easier to get power out of.

 

Why is that? I know doing work on the WRX is a PITA, having helped my friend put in a cobb up pipe, DP, and turbo back. Jesus, we were at it all day for a friggn pipe swap. But he felt the gains were good.
