Default BMW 335i

Anybody own one or race one? They are rated at 300HP but can kill a new GT , I ve seen these cars keep up with ls1's as well as Cobra's. What gives..
In one race I saw it beat a GT500... Are there THAT many bad drivers out there?

My buddy's wife has one. I've driven it and it's not THAT fast. I guess I'm jaded from all the quick cars I've driven but I'd really like the chance to drive a tuned one!

There low 13 second cars stock. When you start modding anything can win. Just depends on how much money your willing to spend on mods.

Few of my friends have one. But there stock. Just putting a intake on a 335 will make a pretty big difference. They respond so well to mods. Dam FI cars ;[

They are sick cars. They make full torque at 1600rpm and with just an Intake and tune can run mid 12's without too much trouble. I'd love to have one eventually

most of the BMW guys think our domestics are crap , then I point out the glory of the Ls1 and how some old beat up trucks here have 300 - 400K miles.

It's a great car man, I love it more every day I drive it... which is weird for me because I have severe ADD when it comes to cars and girls. hahah

The auto TL-S is actually about as quick as a standard MT TL in terms of acceleration and it's also limited electronically to 135mph for some reason (the manual TL-S is limited at like 156 or something like that). Not that I really care about top speed, this car is never going to see over 100mph haha. Otherwise yeah I think it's superior in a lot of ways. 16 more hp, a lot of lightweight engine components (the throttle body is magnesium alloy), the auto tranny is amazing although is a little sluggish to shift in SS mode, it has great brakes, stiffer suspension and it comes fully loaded... there are no options for it. So you get the nav, backup camera, bluetooth, voice commands, etc. There are some stylistic things (like the quad exhaust and body kit) that really set it apart from other TLs too. Tons of carbon fiber bits on the inside!
