what are these things capable of with your basic mods..maybe exhaust and intake, tune of some sort? I think this is the 255 horse variety. Can these do a whole lot without FI?

 

I don't think they can do much with just bolt ons. Maybe they could turn a mid/low 14 with the basic mods? This is with the assumption that bone stock they run in the low 15s with the automatic (I don't know if they also came with a manual).

THose cars are pretty quick. My friend has a 02 automatic. He raced my friends is250 with intake exhaust.

Off launch

is250 - 2 passengers - intake exhaust
Maxima - 1 passenger - bone stock

The maxima didnt get a good launch, but by the time they hit 40, the maxima passed it, prob put a good car or two by 60-70

 

Yeah I bet they're quick, but from what I've gathered the 6 spds are mid to high 14's. Not real sure that bolt ons are going to get you in the low 13's, are they?

I don't doubt it smoked an IS250..those are like 200 horse, 2.5L

 

02-03 6speeds have been low 14 stock. I have a vid of my boys going low 13's I'll get it up as soon as I can. I am at work right now.

He has been faster. Homemade cai, full exhaust, aftermarket clutch, lightweight rims

 

Man that's hard to belive a four door sedan with minor mods going low 13's, not saying it can't be done.
