You should have no problems unless his car is heavily modded and I mean heavily modded.

I should have him pretty easily right? From the stats I looked up the Tiburon's there about a second or more slower in the quarter and a second slower to 60... I was thinking about asking if he wanted to go out on some country roads and have a little race.
Hate to just echo everyone else but you should have it...

New edge with a decent driver should take it too...

New edge's(manual) are mid to low 15's stock w a decent driver...

depending on what he has done and whether he can get traction (they DO NOT have a limited slip on them, its an open diff, plus fwd) it will be a close race but YOU should win....yes it does have the weight advantage on you but when i had mine the biggest issue was being able to get traction and all i had done to mine was full exhaust, CAI and tune (with all this i was probably lucky to put to the wheels what the 05-09 V6 mustang puts down stock)....if he has all of that done it will be a drivers race....i liked mine but for what it cost to make them as fast as a mildly modified GT was not worth it to me....soooo thats why i bought my 2007 GT....oh almost forgot mine was a 2003 GT 6spd
