no. completely stock, 250hp 240tq, powerband of 1500-7000rpm.

capable of 400hp at the crank on stock internals, all alum construction, shares STI rods and 2.2 pistons. Its an insanely good platform that not many venture with.

It sounds like a Porsche.

the stroke is the same, its just a 2.2l na engine with 2 more cylinders basically.

STI has a 2.5L as does the WRX. They are both turbocharged.

A few years back the WRX had a 2.0, not a 2.5.

STI had a 2.0l turbo charged ok not so sure looken it up right now lol
WRX Non sti came with a 2.5l motor...



Idk about new models but im pretty sure friend has a base wrx and it has a 2.5l older one before the hacthback.
