Gti kill
sorry, just isn't going to happen with the mods listed, tell him to get his head out of the clouds or man up and admit he has an aftermarket turbo
the 1.8T GTI on a stock K03/K04 won't stand a chance against a stockish PI 4.6L 2V mustang for that matter... might par one with decent tires and being able to put the power down but like I said on a stock K03/K04 the GTI just isn't that quick
this is my buddies GTI I raced in the lincoln... he had the works as far as bolt on mods, turbo toys and pushing the stock turbo... I think the only thing he was missing was an aftermarket manifold and some other small things that might net him small gains

I have heard the 1.8T is a better platform to mod from over the 2.0T but havn't really looked into the claims... all I know is I heard it from VW guys

I ran one in my npi gt. Pulled a car on him at first, didnt last long. Aroung the 80ish mark he started gaining, close to 100, I shut it down with a fender on him, maybe a eency weency bit more. I know, that was punkish of me to shut it down before he came around me, but we were coming up on traffic, so I used that as my excuse
(a valid one though)
He was bone stock, maybe a cai I believe, hadn't had the car but a couple weeks.

I wanna try running at the track in the spring my buddy with a 9 second evo wants me to go with him. His car is ridiculous hes running 45psi right now. But i was talking to him and i was considering just getting some cheap rims nothing for show and throwing some slicks on them and than when i do go to the track i could just throw them on. i know its the the cheaper way of going but thats all i have money for after a 3000 dollar motor lol... The only thing im nervous about is snapping something.... What do you guys think?
