yea..one time i was in 3rd about 4000 and short shifted into 4th kinda practicing my shifting..low and behold it goes into 2nd...motor hits the redline maybe 3 times before i push in the clutch..i felt pretty bad that day..
I kinda figured so.......my **** is close together. The skipshift is for the 1-4 shift deal. It's easy to shift if you know anything at all about it. Kinda scary how easy it is. Corvette gearbox FTW.
Yeah I simply rev up first a little higher...it lets me go into second everytime.
I guess the idea with fwd is to put as much weight as you can on the front wheels. This happens with rwd and the driveshaft/u-joint just breaks, doesn't put your chin off the steering wheel.

that video is priceless. i dunno but for some reason i think you'll have a lot of trouble going 2-1 at high rpm WOT. theres no way a synchro can match those speeds. straight cut gears only i would think.
