Second trip to track!
So I got to run my silver **** again tonight. It was fuggin hot out there[:@] so the first couple runs sucked *****. It started to get a little cooler and I ran a 14.42 @ 97[&o]. Then there was a break until eliminations started.
I got paired up with a Corvette (early-mid 90's??) and dialed in at 14.2 I beat the Vette which ran 14.33 to my 14.201 @ 98.065. That was my best run of the night. It was just too freakin hot out there......I ran against a 03 Mach1 which was fun. He ran a 14.1 to my 14.4. I can't wait to get drag radials......or till fall when the weather is cooler![8D]

Good runs for a non PI car. My buddy has a '95 GT with the 5.0 and hehas yet to see the 14's. LOL
A "dial in" is an average time you put on your windshield after you run three or four pratice runs before an actual bracket race. Its used to make a more powerful car game for a car with less power.
So if you run three times and your times are a 13.20, a 13.22, and a 13.21 then you may want to dial in at 13.17 or 13.18 because if you beat your dial in then you have "broke out" and lost the race automatically UNLESS he "broke out" worse than you did.

Here is a link to convert your timeslip to corrected DA.

Here is a link to figure out what the DA is for your area. Turn the TV to the weather channel and get the Pressure and temp and call the track for the elevation.

... or you could just use this...

I go to the strip quite a lot and have never heard anyone say anything about D.A.? I live in Georgia. Is that some elevation thing? D.A. Corrected?
