Ain't that the truth. First time I took the stang to the track after I modded it I got something like a 2.2 60ft and ran a 13.1 @ 115. But once you learn how to play with the clutch enough and start bangin some gears I think it would even be possible to get into the 11s with street tires. With enough top end anyway.

I'm thinking of going out before then though and was wondering what to go with....The heavy wheels and tires are really slowing me down but I'm realizing though how ridiculous I'd spin with the stockers on

 

I ran a best of 2.3 60ft times when I went to the track although I did have the stock 235 18's on my car at the end of there tread life. I ran a 13.6 at 104.37 and 8.9 in the 1/8. I figured if I went with newer are different tires I might be able to pull 13.3 or lower.

 

i'd put some DR's on 2 of those stockers and have at it. you have 31 spline rear end stock dont you? i know of guys launching a 6300 with DR's and 31 splines and their fine.

Yea it seems the rear car take it. Brenspeed launches at 6500rpm haha. Now THAT is a launch!
