Decent kill for the 6er
believable, I know another member here has a 4.0L automatic ragtop
Auto, C&L, J&M LCA/UCA; 8.8/3.55 & LPW cover; 75 shot Zex; Superstripe, Roush scoop. Dual GT take offs. Black bullitts. Shaftmaster aluminum drive shaft.
on spray he runs 13.6 as a best... off spray I think he's pulling 14.3-14.5's... seeing as the S2K's are mid-high 14's on average and you have 3.73's and are in a coupe I'd say it went down exactly how it should

A friend of mine has an 04 S2k, when I went on a drive with her she would not go past 3500.. even to pass. She leave it in whatever gear then just wait for the power to build.
Well, when I went for a test drive.. I showed her how to REALLy drive lol. She was like "woah!.." followed by "don't EVER do that again!!" rofl..

My Integra GS-R was similar in nature, although not as powerful as an S2000. It was bone stock, 4 door, gay looking wheels, but it was surprisingly quick for what it was. but yeah unless I was willing to wind it to 8200rpm it was pretty pathetic.
the stock redline in the S197 arrives before 7,000RPM and the torque is in abundance below 3,00RPM while the horsepower carries it above 3,000RPM
the 3V V8 a perfectly balanced powerband that isn't pathetic anywhere.... same in the LSX V8's
just because a car needs to rev up to an ungodly RPM to make any sort of power doesn't mean other engine designs have similar flaws to compare it to... apples and oranges
