Just got the 1.7 rocker arms, upper and lower control arms, valve springs installed and went to the track tonight. ran it twice.. 1st run: 14.68 with a 2.17 60' @ 95.13 mph
2nd run: 14.32 with 2.18 60' @96.22 mph

before that i ran a 14.8 something.. i can tell a nice difference in springs and rocker arms. i just need to get my 60' time down a bit more

Dude I don't know a lot about 5.0's, what that heck about mustangs period but i think with your mods you should me runnig high 13'. Specially with that 60' time. R you running D/R?

changed your mind about what? and i think i can do a little better off the line and maybe get a 14.0 but i dont know. my car is heavy compared to the fox body. i dont know im happy with what i got. its not a drag car im only 17 so its good enough for me. i will rebuild eventually and try and hit the 11 mark but thats a few years down the road if it ever happends.

ha, I got a 1.9 60' with 225 60 15's.they were grand am tires(thats the brand name)
my fastest time without nos was a 14.3@96MPH
it all depends on altitude and temperature.
at sea level I would probably run in the low 13's on motor.

Just do alittle bit here and there in time if you stick with it you will get there. Hell Im only 20 years old and I got my car a year and a half ago, and was running 13.6's stock. In about two months I will hopefully be hitting 10.60's. As long as your happy with the car thats all that matters.

Man, you need the GT 40 upper and lower intake manifold I have sitting in my garage some kind of bad...
