its gas mileage isn't that great though, isn't it still rated at like 17 city? and 24ish highway.

Remember it has 355hp and weights 4300lbs.

Well i mean like, cars have been getting a little better over the last 3 decades but not as efficient as the last few years.

^ It seems that way.

Remember the EPA has adjusted its testing methods. Most cars can easily get more mileage than the estimates if you drive them right.

Even under the new methods, my car is estimated at 15/23. For comparison, an '10 GT clocks in at 16/24. That being said, I easily get 23+ MPG out of every tank. It never drop below 20-21...
