Wow, i don't know why but it looks like it took off a lot faster than the zr1 did. It's probably the video angle.
Also, since the swapped motors wouldn't it have been cheaper to just buy a gt instead?
Go figure out what type of HP it takes to trap 146+mph. As Dave said above "dyno numbers mean crap...ET/Trap that's where the truth is told"
Who are you first off? Are you modaddict? I know the car prob has a 9.5 pass in it. What about Evolutions car that ran 9's with little to nothing done to it. Do you buy that, or think they fibbed like mostly everyone else thought?

that's Jared from Lethal - he sorta kinda owns the company....LOL and is a great guy.

this^^^... Also, remember that this car is daily drivable and those numbers are off of a mustang dyno. The car has a noticeable amount of backfire and is definitely capable of some 9.4s when the driver gets that monster on a leash

Not knocking on the car or anything, it's obviously a performer. You must have missed the lightly modded ZR1 thread. I'm in the camp that dyno numbers mean crap. The point that was brought up in the other thread is that it apparently takes a heavily, heavily modified GT500 to run similar times to a lightly modded ZR1.
And I know what some of you are about to say, and at that stage you really can't compare the two dollar for dollar. When you modify a car that heavily the $ gets insane. I know I've done it.
So you're comparing a lightly modified ZR1 (with warranty) to a fully modded GT500 that is set up specifically for the strip. And they're running within a few tenths and mph of each other.
That's the point I think we were all making in that thread. Again, not to knock your car or your ability to build / tune... it's just what we happen to have been talking about lately
This thread was a pun on another thread, now it's going further as some folks actually think that Evo Perf actually ran 9's with the mods they had stated. LOL!
