A guy posted on here a few days ago about racing the same car you got, a 94 GT convertible, except his was an auto. His best time was a 15.81@89. If your car is stock it should be a little quicker than that because of the 5 speed. I do think the SS was playing with you. Your car would have to have alot of mods to beat an SS. Most of them run mid to low 13's and if you beat that, then certainly your car would have to be capable of a 13 flat.

 

Wayleft by the look of the pictures ur car. its looking pretty bone stock, i agree with 2000camaro, that SS was either messin with you or just watchin u and the teg.

 

Have you ever taken your car to a dragstrip? I have a 2002 Z28, pretty comparable to the SS, and stock I ran 13.5 @ 105. The SS would have steeper gears than me (3.23 for an auto or 3.42 for a 6-speed) and therefore a little quicker than my 2.73-geared auto. If he really was racing, good kill.

 

From reading your story, it sounds like he had no idea that you were racing, then decided to actually race you at the next light. I'm not even sure the Acura knew....

 

Sniff, pout, yeah I guess youre right. About the 'maro anyway. I know the integra was racing me he gave me the look, the no way youre gonna get out in front of me look.

The maro could be a six with ss badges. theres a guy with a v6 stang around here with gt badges. and no mods not even dual exaust. and another with an r sticker on it

Me and Josh (stangpower97 here on MF) were leaving a gas station one day when this V6 with dual exhaust and Z28 badges reved up at us. Needless to say, I turned around to see if he wanted to run. He said, "sure." I asked him how much he wanted to run for, he said he didn't care. So I told him $200, just to make it fun. He then said he's running NAWWWWZZ. I was like, "ok." Then he said that he couldn't run me b/c I had NAWWWWZZZ too that I was hiding from him. He wanted my phone number so he could go home and get his other Camaro to wax my ***. He never called.
