while this is true i don't think acceleration i an issue when you have well over 700rwtq available from like 2000rpm or something stupid like that

Haha, I suppose that's true. The money saved by using basic components may be better spent on suspension/tires.

well i was looking into one of these kits

it was either lightweight or forged
then either flattop or dish top.

I would just enjoy the 13.7:1 compression with the flattop lol but im thinking dish..

13.7 is definitely race gas only. And I've never seen a "lightweight" bottom end that wasn't forged. They generally have to be because to get light weight they remove material from places, and you need the stronger forged so it holds together. That said, stock cast steel cranks are actually remarkably light and strong.

Yes i'd use racing fuel. This car is strictly a drag car.
