2V GT vs. Granny Gold
on the way to the port huron cruise as part of the mustang group granny gold got another kill under her belt... it was on the highway, but what could I do... I wasn't going to slow down to 40MPH just for a BS race that was for fun
the new edge was a vert and an automatic with a CAI and exhaust
we went from a 60 roll, I downshifted to 3rd and we took it up to 120ishMPH.... before I even shifted out of third I had a 1/2 car then once I went into 4th it was just a solid creep in my favor... by 120MPH I had 1 1/2 - 2 cars
I can't say I was expecting such a pull but after thinking of my other races with the car in coupe version with a 5 speed... it's not totally out of the question... although my pull should have been slower

^^ the moment struck with that picture... the car was leaving and I had to run to get into position lol

^^ the new 2011 5.0L Tivot... california special, no badges that read 5.0L anywhere lol

^^ custom job... tail lights are directly from a 1960's mustang

^^ Mikes 3.0L techo charged S197... this is the guy that ran 11.9 @ 112MPH with a 100 shot.... he has since took out the bottle and equipped this and is running 10PSI

I was drinking and my depth perception was off that day as it's the first day I was trying contacts
Mikes car is a gigantic beast... I love it, but here is the kicker... he is debating pulling the blower and going back to spray... he was pulling better times on the bottle.
his best on the blower is 12.1
his best on the bottle is 11.9
I forget the traps... by all means he should be trapping more with the blower though
so any low end power the spray created SHOULD be rectified by the blower choice... I personally just think he needs to find his sweet spot to launch with this new setup is all
I hope he won't give up on the blower so soon, I think it has a bit more potential




it's a good one though.. if they weren't so expensive i'd consider getting it.
